Los Angeles Union Station is the main railway station in Los Angeles, California, and the largest railroad passenger terminal in the Western United States. The station is on the National Register of Historic Places and is a major transportation hub for Southern California. To upgrade and enhance the facility, and elevate it to world-class status, Metro led the development of the Union Station Master Plan (USMP), which envisioned the ambitious and dynamic future of approximately 50 contiguous acres including and surrounding the station.
