Pegah is an urban planner with diverse experience working on a variety of projects for both public and private sector clients. In her role as Director at LWLP, Pegah delivers in-depth market research, assessment and analysis, development positioning, visioning, and programming as well as planning and design direction to guide projects from the initial concept through to implementation. Working across several large-scale mixed-use development projects in LWLP’s portfolio, Pegah has ensured that programming and development strategies are responsive to meet changing and competitive market conditions, while also fostering a sense of place that contributes to the foundation of vibrant, differentiated, and feasible mixed-use developments.

 

Pegah holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with honours from York University, and a Master of Planning (M.Pl.) degree in Urban and Regional Development from Ryerson University, where she specialized in sustainable development and climate change adaptation. Prior to joining LWLP, Pegah worked with several public sector bodies and non-profit organizations including the City of Toronto’s City planning division, within the Strategic Initiatives, Policy, and Analysis section and the Toronto Centre for Active Transportation.

 

Pegah is passionate about contributing to the creation of functional, livable, and sustainable communities, bringing together values of equity, inclusivity, and accessibility to placemaking efforts.
