East Garrison is a 244-acre, master planned new home community and mixed-use New Urbanist village being developed on the site of the former East Garrison of Fort Ord, a U.S. Army Base from the late 19th Century until 1994. East Garrison is designed as a traditional American small town, with appealing residences, neighborhood parks, a future Town Center, Arts District, and public library, and access to 86 miles of trails over 7,200 acres on the adjacent Fort Ord National Monument.
