Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (“IUPUI”) is an urban university located on a peninsula just west of downtown Indianapolis. The campus evolved around Indiana University’s medical school (the only one in the state) and related hospital facilities, and today IUPUI is the state’s premier health sciences and urban research university. The master plan developed represents a broad cross-section of campus constituencies and conveys an inspiring long term vision for the future of IUPUI, Indianapolis, the state of Indiana, and the nation.
